What is this all about? A calypso version of our 'Troubodours' greatest, you can't do that Mr Webb. What will all the 'Young ones' think, so please kids 'don't talk to him'. It's no wonder 'we don't talk anymore' so 'the only way out' is to go on an extended 'summer holiday' preferably deep 'in the country' so you better 'move it' and 'the minute you're gone' there will be 'congratulations' all round, honestly 'some people'. There will certainly not be any 'miss you nights', not even 'from a distance'.
Sorry folks about that, I just could not resist it.
I never forgave Engelpus Humperfart for getting to number one in the charts with 'Release me' and keeping the Beatles double 'A' side 'Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields forever' from getting there, to its rightful place, simply just not on. That smug smarmy, suave look, you just wanted to throw a huge bucket of ol 'Country pie' over his head, sort him out and lock him up never to be 'released'.
Seriously folks, just a bit of fun, they both have a great fan base and make a lot of people happy. I just wanted to make the point of showing the great variation and types of artist that can and do cover Dylan.
Well done lads! for spreading the Gospel.

By the way, on a more serious note, how about Tom Robinson Band's version of 'I Shall Be Released'(b-side of '2-4-6-8 Motorway')? I only mention it because I just suddenly remembered it tonight after Lord knows how many years.
