DYLAN COVERS #34 Keith Richards - Girl from the North Country/John Wesley Harding
KEITH RICHARDS - Girl from the North Country
Keith Richards is no stranger when it comes to Bob, remember that liaison at the 'Live aid' Concert in 1985, I always remember that it was somewhat a bit of a disaster but after re-watching it, well I actually quite enjoyed it. Click on 'Live aid', what do you think?.
These couple of tracks are taken from an album called 'Keith plays his favourites' and appears to be outtakes from the sessions for 'Voodoo Lounge'. All I can say is that they are 'interesting' but worth a listen.
I was more than pleasantly surprised with Keith's first solo album 'Talk is Cheap' (1988) it is far far better than anything Mick Jagger has attempted on his own and if you can get hold of it, you may be pleasantly surprised..

'John Hardy was a desperate little man' by the Carter Family is what I assume you are referring to...and yes I would sort of agree but I would rather say it is a hybrid of both songs. And I have a six gun in my hand.
All the best and thanks for the response/Old Pa
