Decent track, nice gospel finish too.

Sfw, another great track, some good moves too. Will give this album a go.

Old pa, what struck me first was how good Bob's voice his. He must have drank castor oil or sumat as it sounds pretty smooth. Should be intresting as I dig me a bit of Frank.flycasualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11216911927644223730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29773053816846131.post-63220367244842551282015-01-25T17:03:56.733+00:002015-01-25T17:03:56.733+00:00SB - Fucking brilliant! and you are of course righ...SB - Fucking brilliant! and you are of course right on with Down on the Groove, Red Sky etc....I just got a bit carried away...But I am still young and enthusiastic...I may be getting older, but I am still so much younger than tomorrow....
Who do you think you are Old Pa...Ol' Blue Eyes!! I don't mean that these other track shave nothing for them but Dylan's stands so far above it all that it's just 'beyond'. I will take issue with Old Pa when he says that Dylan doesn't do 'bummer': may I suggest most of 'Under The Red Sky', a fair bit of 'Empire Burlesque' and 75% of 'Down In The Groove'? I say this as a Dylan fanatic. However, there was NO WAY that his tribute to songs already done beautifully by The Voice AKA 'Old Blue Eyes' was ever going to be duff. When Dylan is on form, which he has been since 1997, he transcends nearly everything else and makes most pop and rock sound silly. There - got that off my chest and am willing to concede it's a bit of rant and very arguable. Opinions, eh?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29773053816846131.post-60563707135901638942015-01-25T13:29:04.301+00:002015-01-25T13:29:04.301+00:00Joint spoils go to The Charlatans and good ol'...Joint spoils go to The Charlatans and good ol' Bob this week.
Both 'So Oh' and 'Come Home Baby' are great teasers for the album, which I'm really looking forward to.
The live versions of 'Stay With Me' from last year's tour were excellent, as is this - only a week to go!The Swedehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13237251779370596904noreply@blogger.com
