WEDNESDAY CLUB - JJ CALE - Mama Don't
MIDWEEK CRISIS, the pace of life is too fast, Come to WEDNESDAY CLUB we've got JJ today, he's stress free
JJ CALE - Mama Don't
If you are not familiar with JJ Cale, I bet you at least know a few of his songs, Cocaine and After Midnight were both covered by Eric Clapton.
When you think of 'laid back' music and if thats what you want JJ Cale is your man. You can just picture him sitting on his porch, a bud at hand and him strumming a way with friends and Clyde the dog by his side.
This track is from his 'Shades Album' and is rather upbeat for JJ it starts of slowly with one instrument, then another, then another, until by the end you have the full band and reefers belting it out in full flow...'there is no way back from that Mama.'
If you want to share the many joys of JJ Cale, I strongly recommend you get hold of 'Any way the wind blows' which is an anthology, you will not regret it, I give a guarantee for life with that.
