I love the idea of Bandcamp - a direct place for bands to share their music to fans that gives them a little payback - however, it is like walking into a new record shop and getting a little overwhelmed.  This though was worth the trawl.  The Black Atlantic is a band formed around Dutch singer and songwriter Geert van der Velde. He's released a couple of albums and EPs but I've delved back into his repertoire and found this soothing track from 2009.  It is VERY much like Bon Iver, but that's not a bad thing.   Pour yourself a mulled wine and give it a spin.
