Coldplay - 'The Scientist' (2002)
One song that is a guarantee to get the hairs on the back of my neck standing to attention is this 5 minute masterpiece which I can't believe was released as far back as 2002. It will probably always be my favourite Coldplay track.
Whenever I hear the song and start singing along I always change one word in the lyrics as an homage to my favourite board game ever, Trivial Pursuit (a game that I have still never lost, although once did find myself in a losing position against Mrs Flycasual, but the game was never finished)
The line I change is :-
'I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling your puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and
Do not speak as loud as my heart'

ReplyBack when it was still cool to like Coldplay! Love this song and I also can't help saying science and nature, seems to fit better! I hate trivial pursuit because I'm so crap!
