Electronic - 'Getting Away With It' (1989)

Musical Medicine..... tracks that give you a shot in the dark, even when your legless

Electronic - 'Getting Away With It' (1989)

In light of the news from the courts in South Africa this week it reminded me of a great track from the very late 80's. The band was essentially Bernard Sumner (New Order) & Johnny Marr (The Smiths) with a few friends. This track featured Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys) on backing vocals and I for one bloody loved it...

It's a little known fact, but I'm not a big fan of New Order. They and I parted company after the first couple of albums. I do enjoy the odd Electronic tune though. Johnny must've brought out the best in Bernard. 'Forbidden City' is a gem, but 'Getting Away With It' is none too shabby either.
