TUESDAY BLUES!!! Lissy Trullie - Madeline

Lissy Trullie - Madeline

Is honesty the best option? If so, I have to say that I honestly thought I'd hate this, never heard of her before and with that hipster look she's got, I thought it would be rubbish. I have no excuses, it's just my prejudice of people who look cooler (& younger) than me, so this is a public apology to Ms Trullie and 'a note to self' to remember to never judge a book by it's glossy cover!

"...probably shops at H&M..."

This track has tinges of Lo-Fi/Mazzy Star/Velvet Underground and will appear on her self-titled debut album that is due for release in March 2012 however it's available from RCRD Label to download for free! For those who like this, she's also done a cover of Hot Chips "Ready for the Floor" (available on the Jennifers Body Soundtrack) and I was unsurprised in reading she's done modelling and DJ work.  I guess that's what happens when your young & cool, of which, I'm neither!

There is nothing wrong with being lukewarm so its ok. Interesting one, she could be one to watch, truly. Why are you so upbeat these days, where are these blues? You know what I mean, I prefer Peter Barlow when hes on the booze!

I didn't think this was upbeat....thought it is pretty dark.

Anyone that says this sounds upbeat needs their head checked! I was not expecting a voice like that at all! Great song and I love the use of the big tablet drums, very dramatic!

Look the sun is shining, it is hot outside, I'm happy, I'm smiling, go on Pete, only one small one, you know you want to.

Nope didn't expect that, good time though and I know what you mean about Velvet Underground as it's exactly what I thought. I think you're cool
