ROSANNE CASH - You Aint' Goin' Nowhere (2012)
There is a bit of a buzz going around about the new Rosanne Cash album about to be released. I have heard a few tracks and in fact featured a track last year on 'Our Tracks of the Week' . I am definitely hooked and will be getting the album for sure.
So in celebration of her new album, here are a couple of covers featuring Rosanne with the Bob classic You Ain't goin' Nowhere. It is quite amazing to note that the versions are twenty years apart.
The first take is from a 2012 concert in 'Bonnie Scotland'. The second is a bit more familiar and taken from the 1992, 30th Anniversary Celebration Concert for Mr Dylan and also features Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Now thats a bevvy of beauties if ever I saw.

commentsBoth nice versions with some good vocals. I have always preferred Bob's approach on the later version he did foe the second greatest hits album.
